RBPF Grand Bahama: Suspects arraigned on charges

Freeport, Grand Bahama - 26 year old, Theodore Tanis of Russell Town, and 24 year old, Antonio Joseph of Pine Dale, both of Eight Mile Rock, were arraigned on Friday 23rd February 2018, before Deputy Chief Magistrate, Debbye Ferguson in Magistrate Court #1, on (2) two counts of Grievous Harm, and (1) one count of Attempted Murder. They pleaded Not Guilty, to the charges of Grievous Harm and were not required to enter a plea for the Attempted Murder. Bail was denied, and they were remanded to the Bahamas Department of Correctional Services, until Wednesday 13th June 2018, for the trial to begin, for the Grievous Harm matter, and for a Voluntary Bill of Indictment to be served, for the Attempted Murder charge.

41 year old, Wisler Guerrier of Holmes Rock, Eight Mile Rock, was also arraigned before Deputy Chief Magistrate Debbye Ferguson, on the charge of Assault with a Dangerous Instrument. He pleaded Not Guilty, bail was denied, and he was remanded to the Bahamas Department of Correctional Services until Wednesday 13th June 2018, for the trial of this matter.
