$86,000 in suspected marijuana discovered in Grand Bahama

Freeport, Grand Bahama - Reports are that on Wednesday 26th September 2018, shortly before 12:00 p.m., officers of the Drug Enforcement Unit and officers of the Central Detective Unit, were called to the Grand Bahama Shipyard, where they discovered attached to the bottom of a cargo vessel, a metal container with thirty eight wrapped packages of suspected marijuana inside. The estimated weight of the suspected marijuana is (86) lbs., with a street value of $86,000.00 eighty six thousand dollars.

There were no arrest made in this matter and police are investigating.
