Law Enforcement Officers partner together in “Operation Stay

Steady” – Grand Bahama

Freeport, Grand Bahama - Law Enforcement officers consisting of Police Officers, Immigration and Custom Officers in Grand Bahama, teamed together in Operation “Stay Steady” that occurred on Wednesday 27th February 2019 and arrested (9) suspects for various offences including Stealing, Possession of Dangerous Drugs, Warrants of Arrest, uncustomed goods and expired work permits.

Reports are that on Wednesday 27th February 2019 shortly before 9:00am, a team of officers from the High Rock Police Station, acting on intelligence, proceeded to an area in Felix Slope, High Rock, Grand Bahama, where they arrested (4) illegal Immigrants; (3) females (one from Venezuela, (2) from Ecuador), and (1) male from Ecuador. They were all undocumented and handed over to the Immigration Department for further investigation.

The Royal Bahamas Police Force Grand Bahama District, partnering together with other Law Enforcement Agencies and the Grand Bahama Community in the fight against crime.
