Freeport, Grand Bahama - In keeping with the Commissioner ‘s Policing Plan 2014, on Tuesday 16th September 2014, between the hours of 8:00am and 9:30am, Officers of the Traffic Division conducted a road check in the Coral Road area. Officers also conducted a road check in the area of Seahorse Road between the hours of 9:40am and 10:45am, a total of (32) fixed penalty notices were issued to various traffic offenders.
The public is hereby notified that the police will be monitoring all school zones and will be operating with zero tolerance for those who choose to disobey the rules of the road. We are encouraging all drivers to drive with care and attention and to please ensure that your seat belts and all occupants of your vehicle are securely fastened.
