From:TheBahamasWeekly.com Grand Bahama District Reports are that on Friday 26th September 2014 shortly before 2:00pm police received information that two males were involved in a physical altercation while in the Bartlett Hill, Eight Mile Rock area that left one of the males with stab wound to the abdomen. EMS were called to the scene. The other a 17 year old male was taken into police custody. SUDDEN DEATH – GRAND BAHAMA: Police are investigating the death of a 70 year old American female. Reports are that on Saturday 27th September 2014 shortly after 8:00am an American visitor while snorkeling in waters in Grand Bahama on a snorkeling expedition was found floating in an unconscious state. CPR was administered and EMS personnel was called to the scene. She was later pronounced dead by doctor. Police are investigating all matters.
