Freeport, Grand Bahama - Samuel Williams age 35 years of Hawksbill, Grand Bahama was arrested on Friday 27th July 2018 for Possession of Dangerous Drugs with the intent to Supply. He was arraigned before Magistrate Renkin Johnson in Magistrate Court #3 on Monday 30th July 2018, where he pleaded guilty and was sentenced to 30 months at the Bahamas Department of Correctional Service.

The Royal Bahamas Police Force in Grand Bahama will continue to bring peace and tranquility to residents and neighborhoods throughout the Grand Bahama community.

SAFETY DRIVING TIPS – Obey all traffic laws
  • Don’t drink, text or utilize anything that will distract you while driving.
  • Obey the speed limits and traffic signal lights
  • Be alert and ready to stop. Look out for people walking on the street, especially where there are no sidewalks
  • Be extra cautious around pedestrian crossing, slow down and watch out for children on the streets.
  • Do not overtake, stay in your lane.
  • Remember to slow down and drive for both you and others.
