Woman robbed of her vehicle in Grand Bahama

Freeport, Grand Bahama - Police in Grand Bahama are searching for two male suspects who robbed a female of her vehicle.

Reports are that on Thursday 8th October 2015 shortly before 8:00am, a female was accosted while at a residence in the South Bahamia area by two males armed with a handgun, who robbed her of a black 2009 Chevrolet Malibu vehicle before making good their escape.

Police are actively investigating this matter and are appealing to the general public for anyone with any information that can assist them in their investigation, to call them at telephone numbers 350-3107/12, 911/919 or contact your nearest police station.

Crime Prevention Tip:

Check your vehicle prior to exiting. Ensure that you didn’t leave valuables in plain view.

Never carry more people than your car can safely fit. Remember be a responsible driver.

Police are appealing to anyone who may have any information regarding any crime, no matter how small or insignificant (the tip) may seem, to anonymously call Police at 919/911 or Crime Stoppers at 328-tips (8477) or 1-242-300-8476 (Family Islands) or your nearest police station.
