BUSINESS LICENSE INSPECTION – GRAND BAHAMA

Freeport, Grand Bahama - Consistent with the Commissioner’s Policing Plan for 2016, Police in Grand Bahama between Thursday 11th August 2016 at 9:00pm and Friday 12th August 2016 at 2am, conducted a routine check of several business places and discovered that a number of them were in breach of the Licensing Act. They were all closed and warned of prosecution.

Police are warning business owners to have their business license for the year 2016, license properly displayed for inspection and to operate within the requirements of their business license. Failure to do so will result in prosecution.

Police are also urging anyone who may have any information regarding any crime, no matter how small or insignificant (the tip) may seem, to anonymously call Police at 919 or CRIME STOPPERS at 328-TIPS (8477)

TRAFFIC SAFETY TIP -

SPEED IS A MAJOR CAUSE OF FATAL CRASHES AND SERIOUS ACCIDENTS. SPEEDING IS SELFISH, NO THOUGHT GIVEN TO FAMILY AND FRIENDS OR TO THOSE WE MAIM OR LEAVE BEHIND… SLOW DOWN!
