“CAUSING DAMAGE – GRAND BAHAMA”

Freeport, Grand Bahama - Police in Grand Bahama arrested a 27 year old male on court bail for causing damage to an ankle monitoring bracelet.

Reports are that on Monday 11th August 2014 shortly after 10:00am, police received information that a male who was ordered by the courts to be monitored by an ankle monitoring bracelet had caused damage to the bracelet which is valued at $1,189.95. He was arrested and taken into police custody where he is expected to be charged before the Magistrate Court.

“TRAFFIC ROAD CHECK – GRAND BAHAMA”

In keeping with the Commissioners Policing Plan for 2014, the Grand Bahama Traffic Department on Monday 11th August 2014, between the hours of 5:00pm and 7:00pm conducted a road check in the areas of Sea Horse Road and Grand Bahama Highway. Thirty one (31) persons were cited for various traffic infractions.

The Royal Bahamas Police Department would like to take this opportunity to encourage the motoring public to continue to drive with care and attention while traversing the streets of Grand Bahama.
