RBPF Grand Bahama: DEU Officer uncover illegal firearm and ammunition

Freeport, Grand Bahama - Reports are that on Sunday 20th May 2018, shortly after 10:00pm, Officer of the Drug Enforcement Unit, while in the area of the Murchison Drive, in a private vehicle, observed a male acting suspicious near a derelict vehicle. The officer then proceeded to the area, and discover a .45 pistol with a magazine containing (7) .45 ammunition. The unknown male made good his escape on foot.
Investigation is continuing in this matter.
