DANGEROUS DRUGS ARREST – GRAND BAHAMA

Freeport, Grand Bahama - Reports are that on Saturday 18th June 2016 shortly after 1:00am, Officers of Operation Turf Sweep arrested a 21 year old male of Wellington Drive after they discover at his residence suspected marijuana. He was taken into police custody for Possession of Dangerous Drugs with the intent to
continuing.

FOUND FIREARM AND AMMUNITION – GRAND BAHAMA

Reports are that on Friday 17th June 2016 shortly after 5:00pm, Officers of Operation Turf Sweep acting on information, went to an abandoned apartment on Emerald Drive, Coral Gardens where they uncovered a gold pistol with (1) .25 round of ammunition.

Investigation will continue in this matter.

Police are also urging anyone who may have any information regarding any crime, no matter how small or insignificant (the tip) may seem, to anonymously call Police at 919 or CRIME STOPPERS at 328-TIPS (8477)
