Abaconian arrested in Grand Bahama for drug possession

Freeport, Grand Bahama - A 21 year old female of Grand Cay, Abaco is in police custody after she was arrested for Possession of Dangerous Drugs with the intent to supply.

Reports are that on Wednesday 20th April 2016 shortly before 2:00pm, officers of Operation Turf Sweep acting on information went to the Grand Bahama Highway in the area of the Grand Cay Boat Dock where officers discovered in a suitcase a quantity of suspected marijuana and cocaine. A 21 year old female of Grand Cay, Abaco was arrested and taken into police custody. Police are investigating.

Police are also urging anyone who may have any information regarding any crime, no matter how small or insignificant (the tip) may seem, to anonymously call Police at 919 or CRIME STOPPERS at 328-TIPS (8477) or 1-242-300-8477 (FAMILY ISLANDS)
