Double murder leaves 2 males dead on Grand Bahama

Freeport, Grand Bahama - Police in Grand Bahama are investigating a shooting incident that has left two males dead.

Reports are that on Wednesday 1st February 2017 shortly before 1:00am, police were called to the Logwood Road area, where they discovered the bodies of two males with gunshot wounds. EMS personnel were called to the scene. One of the males died on the scene and the other male was transported to the Rand Memorial Hospital where he later succumbed to this injuries.

A male resident of Grand Bahama is in police custody assisting with the investigation into this matter.

Police are actively investigating this matter and are appealing to the general public for anyone who may have any information to call the Central Detective Unit Office at telephone number 350-3107 thru 12, 911/919 or call your nearest police station.
