Grand Bahama female arraigned on murder case - Dangerous drug arrest

“FEMALE ARRAIGNED ON MURDER CHARGE”

Freeport, Grand Bahama - Rose Adaline Dorestil a.k.a. Rolanda Dorestil age 29 years of Haiti was arraigned before Magistrate Rengin Johnson of Magistrate Court #3 on Wednesday 25th November 2015 on Murder charge. She was not required to enter a plea as the matter is an indictable offence. She was remanded to The Bahamas Correctional Services in New Providence until 22nd February 2016. The matter is expected to proceed by Voluntary Bill of Indictment.

“DANGEROUS DRUG ARREST – GRAND BAHAMA”

Two person are in police custody after they were arrested by Drug Enforcement Officers for possession of Dangerous drugs.

Reports are that on Tuesday 24th November 2015 shortly after 10:00pm, Drug Enforcement Officers went to a home in the Heritage Subdivision armed with a search warrant where they discovered a quantity of suspected Dangerous Drugs namely Marijuana. A 45 year old male and a 41 year old female of that residence were arrested and taken into police custody.

Investigation are continuing in this matter.
