RBPF: Grand Bahama: Firearm and ammunition arrest

Freeport, Grand Bahama - Officers of the Mobile Division in Grand Bahama arrest three males for possession of a firearm and ammunition.

Reports are that on Saturday 23rd September 2017 shortly after 1:00pm, Officers of the Mobile Division while on routine patrol in the area of Seahorse Plaza, observed a silver Honda Accord vehicle with three occupants acting suspicious. The vehicle then speed off, officers gave chase and with the assistance of another police unit, stopped the vehicle and arrested three males all residents of Grand Bahama for possession of a silver pistol with one magazine containing (12) rounds of ammunition. They are expected to be arraigned before the Magistrate Court early next week.

Investigation into this matter is continuing.
