RBPF Grand Bahama: Found Ammunition

Freeport, Bahamas - Officers of Operation Turf Sweep discover a quantity of ammunition in the Adventurers Way area.

Reports are that on Thursday 31st March 2016 shortly after 11:00am, Officers of Operation Turf Sweep, acting on information, discovered in bushes at the rear of an apartment complex on Adventurers Way, a paint can containing (40) live rounds of 7.62 ammunition, (1) .223 ammunition and (1) 7.62 magazine. All items were confiscated, no arrest was made in this matter. Police are investigating.

Police are urging anyone who may have any information regarding any crime, no matter how small or insignificant (the tip) may seem, to anonymously call Police at 919 or CRIME STOPPERS at 328-TIPS (8477) or 1-242-300-8477 (FAMILY ISLANDS)
