Grand Bahama armed robbery suspects arrested - Pistol found on Fawcett Lane

FOUND FIREARM – GRAND BAHAMA

Freeport, Grand Bahama - Officers of Operation Turf Sweep on Saturday 14th May 2016 shortly after 1:00pm acting on information, went to the Fawcett Lane area where they discovered in bushes a .380 pistol with (4) rounds of ammunition.

No arrest was made in this matter, police are investigating.

ARMED ROBBERY – GRAND BAHAMA

Reports are that on Sunday 15th May 2016 shortly before 11:00pm, police were called to the Hawksbill area where two juvenile males were reportedly robbed at gun point by two males of a PS4 game valued at $450.00. Police quickly responded and two adult males both of Hawksbill were arrested and property recovered. Investigation is continuing.

Police are also urging anyone who may have any information regarding any crime, no matter how small or insignificant (the tip) may seem, to anonymously call Police at 919 or CRIME STOPPERS at 328-TIPS (8477) or 1-242-300-8477 (FAMILY ISLANDS)
