Structural Fire in Jones Town, EMR --- Grand Bahama homicide victim identified

HOMICIDE VICTIM IDENTIFIED – GRAND BAHAMA

Freeport, Bahama - Police in Grand Bahama has identified the homicide victim who was found with multiple gunshot wounds to the body on Bass Lane and Murchinson Drive as Eleazor Louis age 23 years of Caravel Beach.

Investigation is continuing in this matter.

STRUCTURAL FIRE – GRAND BAHAMA

On Friday 29th January 2016 shortly before 4:00am, police were called to a structural fire in Jones Town, Eight Mile Rock, where they met a single wooden structure engulfed in flame. The fire was extinguished and the building completely destroyed. Police are investigating this matter.

Police are appealing to anyone with information regarding any crime, no matter how small or insignificant (the tip) may seem, to anonymously call Police 919 emergency number or CRIME STOPPERS at 328-TIPS (8477) (New Providence) or 1-242-300-8477 (Family Islands)
