Industrial accident – Grand Bahama

Freeport, Grand Bahama - Police in Grand Bahama are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of a 23 year old male of Frobisher Drive while at a business establishment on Queens Highway.

Reports are that on Tuesday 15th November 2017 shortly after 12:00pm, an accident occurred at a business establishment on Queens Highway, where it was reported that a male employee sustained serious injuries and was taken to the Rand Memorial Hospital via EMS personnel. He was seen by doctor and shortly after 4:00pm, he succumbed to his injuries. Police are actively investigating this matter.

Found Firearm – Grand Bahama

Officers of the Drug Enforcement Unit discover a 9mm pistol with magazine and ammunition.

Reports are that on Tuesday 15th November 2017 shortly before 2:00pm, Officers of the Drug Enforcement Unit acting on information went to an area on Sergeant Major Drive near a community park and discovered in a garbage bin a 9mm pistol along with a magazine containing (3) 9mm ammunition. No arrest was made in this matter, investigation is continuing.

TAKE A STAND AGAINST ILLEGAL FIREARMS BY COOPERATING WITH THE POLICE IN PROVIDING INFORMATION REGARDING THE WHEREABOUTS OF ANY ILLEGAL FIREARM.
