Plane crash landing in Grand Bahama

Police on Grand Bahama, are investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash landing, of an aircraft on Deep Water Cay.

Reports are, that shortly after 2:00pm, on Thursday 22nd February 2018, officers in Grand Bahama, received reports that, a single engine plane had crash landed on a dirt road, near Deep Water Cay landing dock East Grand Bahama. The aircraft, reportedly was experiencing mechanical difficulties. Inquiries revealed, that the pilot was the only person on board the aircraft, and there were no reported injuries, however, the aircraft received damages to its tires.

The authorities are investigating.
