RBPF Grand Bahama: Police investigating a traffic fatality

Freeport, Grand Bahama - Police in Grand Bahama are investigating a traffic accident that has left a male dead on Friday 9th February 2018.

Reports are that shortly before 8:00am, a traffic accident occurred involving a 2001 blue and white Van Tour Bus that was travelling along Coral Road and Settlers Way, when it collided into a male pedestrian who was attempting to cross the street. The male pedestrian died at the scene.  

Police are actively investigating this matter.

POLICE ARE APPEALING TO ANYONE WITH INFORMATION REGARDING ANY CRIME, NO MATTER HOW SMALL OR INSIGNIFICANT (THE TIP) MAY SEEM, TO ANONYMOUSLY CALL POLICE AT 919 OR CRIME STOPPERS AT 328-TIPS (8477) (NEW PROVIDENCE) OR 1-242-300-8477 (FAMILY ISLANDS)

CRIME PREVENTION TIP – TAKE A STAND AGAINST ILLEGAL FIREARMS BY COOPERATING WITH THE POLICE IN PROVIDING INFORMTION REGARDING THE WHEREABOUTS OF ANY ILLEGAL FIREARM.
