RBPF Grand Bahama: Possession of a firearm and ammunition arrest

Freeport, Grand Bahama - Quick response by Officers of the Rapid Response Unit resulted in the arrest of a 32 year old male after he was found in possession of an illegal firearm.

Reports are that on Saturday 30th December 2017, shortly before 10:00pm, officers acting on information went to a business establishment on Wildcat Alley where a male was found in possession of a black .40 pistol with (9) .40 ammunition. He was placed under arrest, taken into police custody and is expected to be arraigned before the Magistrate Court early next week.
