RBPF Grand Bahama: Possession of dangerous drugs arrest

Freeport, Grand Bahama - A 31 year old male of New Providence is in police custody after he was found in possession of a quantity of Dangerous Drugs.

Reports are that on Friday 24th November 2017 shortly after 6:00am, Officers of the Airport Police Station and Drug Enforcement Unit Officers acting on information went to the Western Air Terminal situated on Grand Bahama Highway, where they arrested a 31 year old male after they discovered in his baggage (7) pounds of suspected marijuana valued at $7,000.00 dollars. The suspect was taken into police custody and will be arraigned before the Magistrate Court early next week.
