RBPF Grand Bahama: Possession of unlicensed firearm and ammunition

Freeport, Grand Bahama - Officers of Operation Clean Sweep, shortly after 12:00am on Saturday 9th June 2018, and armed with a search warrant, proceeded to a resident on Sunridge Road, where they discovered a black and chrome .357 revolver with (10) live rounds of .357 ammunition that was hidden in a 1996 Toyota Corolla vehicle parked at that residence. He was taken into police custody and is expected to be arraigned before the Magistrate Court in Freeport early next week.

POLICE ARE APPEALING TO ANYONE WITH INFORMATION REGARDING ANY CRIME, NO MATTER HOW SMALL OR INSIGNIFICANT (THE TIP) MAY SEEM, TO ANONYMOUSLY CALL POLICE AT 919 OR CRIME STOPPERS AT 328-TIPS (8477) (NEW PROVIDENCE) OR 1-242-300-8477 (FAMILY ISLANDS.)
