RBPF Grand Bahama: Shooting Incident

Freeport, Grand Bahama - Police in Grand Bahama are investigating a shooting incident that has left a male hospitalized.

Reports are that on Tuesday 30th October 2018, shortly before 9:00pm, police were called to the International Bazaar at a business establishment where reports off gunshot were heard. Further inquiries led officers to the Rand Memorial Hospital where a male with gunshot wounds about the body was being attended to by doctors. Further investigations revealed that the male victim while at the International Bazaar in his vehicle, was shot several times about the body by persons unknown. The victim was able to drive himself to the Rand Memorial Hospital to seek medical attention.
Police are actively investigating this matter and are appealing to anyone with any information that can assist with this investigation to call the Central Detective Unit at telephone numbers 350-3107 thru12, 911/919 or call your nearest police station.
