RBPF Grand Bahama report 2 shooting incidents

Freeport, Grand Bahama - Police in Grand Bahama are investigating two shooting incidents that has left a 26 year old male of Seagrape, Eight Mile Rock and a 32 year old male of Garden Villas in hospital.

The first incident reportedly occurred on Friday 12th December 2014 shortly before 9:00am, police received information that a male was suffering from gunshot wounds to the abdomen while in the area of Lovers Beach. The victim was reportedly involved in an altercation with another male who is known to him who reportedly shot him in the leg.

Police are aggressively in search of the suspect in this matter.

The second incident occurred on Friday 12th December 2014 shortly before 12:00am, police received information that a male while at home in the Garden Villas area was accosted by an mask male who entered his home armed with a handgun and robbed him of $300.00 cash. He was reportedly shot by the assailant in the leg.
Both victims were treated at the Rand Memorial Hospital by doctor and are said to be listed in stable condition.

Police are investigating and are appealing to the general public for anyone with any information that can assist the police with their investigation into these matters, they are asked to contact the Central Detective Unit Office at telephone numbers 350-3107/8, 911/919 or call their nearest police station.
