The incident reportedly occurred shortly after 1:00am on Sunday 2nd August 2015. Reports are that the male was at a club on East Sunrise Highway where he was involved in an altercation with a group of males and was subsequently stabbed to the back. The victim was transported to the Rand Memorial Hospital via private vehicle where he is detained and is listed in serious but stable condition. Police later arrested a 17 year old male who is assisting police with their investigation into this matter.
