Grand Bahama suspects arraigned before Magistrate Court

Freeport, Grand Bahama - Police in Grand Bahama arraigned (4) suspects before the Magistrate Court on charges from Armed Robbery to Housebreaking and Stealing.

Wesley Munnings age 25 years of Malibu Reef, Grand Bahama was arraigned before Magistrate Debbye Ferguson in Magistrate Court #1 on one count of Armed Robbery. He was not required to enter a plea, a preliminary enquiry will commence on the 12th November 2014. He was remanded to Her Majesty’s Prison until then.

This is in connection to an incident that was reported to police on the 12th September 2014.

Christopher Ferguson age 27 years of Lunar Boulevard was arraigned before Magistrate Charlton Smith in Magistrate Court #2. He pleaded guilty to:

(2) Counts of Housebreaking and Stealing (1) Count of Stealing from a vehicle
(1) Count of Burglary and Stealing

Christopher Ferguson was sentenced to 24 months at Her Majesty’s Prison in New Providence.

This is in connection with matters that were reported to the police between the 10th and 16th September 2014 in the Bahama Terrace and the Caravel Beach areas.

Marcus Dickenson age 18 years of Caravel Beach and a 16 year old juvenile were both arraigned before Magistrate Charlton Smith in Magistrate Court #2 on (1) counts of Stealing from a Dwelling House. They both pleaded guilty to the charge.

Marcus Dickenson was sentenced to 6 months at Her Majesty’s Prison in New Providence and the 16 year old juvenile was sentenced to 6 months at the Simpson Penn School for Boys in New Providence.

This incident occurred on the 4th September 2014 in the Caravel Beach area.
