Freeport, Grand Bahama - Police in Grand Bahama are investigating a traffic accident that has left a male dead. He was later identified as Everette Moxey age 58 years of Magellan Crescent, Mayfield Park.
Reports are that on Monday 15th August 2016 shortly before 7:00am, police were called to a traffic accident on West Sunrise Highway that involved a Champagne colored Nissan Blue Bird vehicle that had collided into a utility pole. The male driver who was the only passenger in the vehicle succumbed to his injuries and died on scene.
Police are actively investigating this matter and are appealing to the entire Grand Bahama community to drive within the speed limit, drive with care and attention and to always wear your seatbelt.
Police are also urging anyone who may have any information regarding any crime, no matter how small or insignificant (the tip) may seem, to anonymously call Police at 919 or CRIME STOPPERS at 328-TIPS (8477)

Here are a few ways to prevent auto theft;
1. Install an Alarm System with a kill switch.
2. Completely close all windows
3. Never leave your vehicle running unattended.
4. Install a steering wheel lock device.
5. Park in well-lit location, avoid isolated areas.
6. Remove all valuables.
