Freeport, Grand Bahama - Police in Grand Bahama are investigating a Traffic Fatality that has left a male pedestrian dead
Reports are that on Sunday 15th July 2018, shortly before 5:00am, police were called to West Sunrise Highway, West of Yorkshire Drive, where they met the body of an unknown male laying in the road. EMS personnel arrived at that scene and reported no signs of life. Unconfirmed reports are that the male was struck by a vehicle that left the scene.
Police are actively investigating this matter and are also appealing to the general public for any information in solving this matter, that they may call the Traffic Police Station at telephone numbers 352-6626/350-3153 or call 911/919.

beach or pool. Always check the depth of the water before diving. If
swimming in the ocean, check the current and under-tow.
- Be sure that every child wears fitting life jacket when on a boat or near water.
- Teach children how to swim. Get professional training, but never
rely solely on the swimming lessons to protect your child from drowning.
- Learn first-aid and CPR, especially infant CPR.
