RBPF Grand Bahama report stabbing and an armed robbery

Police in Grand Bahama are investigating a stabbing incident that has left three men with injuries.

Reports are that on Friday 20th February 2015, shortly after 2:00am, police received information that three males ages 31, 25 and 19 years old were at the Rand Memorial Hospital suffering from stab wounds about the body. Reports are that all victims were involved in an altercation with each other at a local night club in the Eight Mile Rock area. They were transported to the Rand Memorial Hospital via private vehicle and their injuries are said to be not life threatening.

Police are searching for a male who they want to question in connection with an armed robbery.

Reports are that on Friday 20th February 2015, shortly after 5:00am, police received information that a female while in the downtown area was reportedly approached by a male culprit who is described as bright skin, 5’8” in height, slim built, wearing a grey hoodie jacket and armed with a firearm, who held her at bay and robbed her of $140 cash and a cell phone. The culprit fled the area on foot.

Police are investigating all matters and are appealing to the general public for anyone with information that can assist them in their investigations to call them at telephone numbers 350-3107/8, 911/919 or call your nearest police station. All information will be kept in the strictest of confidence.
