Traffic fatality on Grand Bahama - one male dead

Police in Grand Bahama are investigating a traffic accident that has left a male dead.
The incident occurred on Friday 28th October 2016 shortly after 7:00am, police were called to a traffic accident on Coral Road that involved a single vehicle, a 2007 gray Mercury Milan driven by a lone male who lost control of his vehicle and hit a tree. The male driver was ejected from his vehicle on impact and transported to the Rand Memorial Hospital via ambulance in serious condition. He was later airlifted to New Providence for further medical attention.

The victim died on Sunday 30th October 2016 around 5:00pm. Police are actively investigating this matter.

Police are also urging anyone who may have any information regarding any crime, no matter how small or insignificant (the tip) may seem, to anonymously call Police at 919 or CRIME STOPPERS at 328-TIPS (8477)
