3rd annual Culinary Fusion Expo a great taste of Grand Bahama

Freeport, Bahamas - The third annual installment of the Culinary Fusion Expo held at the Canal House, Pelican Bay Hotel in Grand Bahama on November 7th was said to be the best yet. The event featured live cooking and mixology demonstrations and a host of cooking stations by restaurant and resort chefs, pastry chefs and mixologists presented samples of some of the best that the island has to offer. Vendors were able to expose the attendees to the wide range of cuisine options and bounty of fresh ingredients available on Grand Bahama.

"Meeting of Minds Culinary fusion 2015 sought out to provide an experience that was unforgettable," said Sean Johnson II, event founder of Move Marketing. "Food enthusiasts both near and far came out to wine and dine with over 24 vendors. We anticipated a great turnout, however, we got much greater."

For only a $50 entrance fee participants, were able to nibble and sip all evening on the best tastes that Grand Bahama have to offer. Out of Nassau Mojo's Restaurant participated for a second year.

For the second year running Memories Grand Bahama Beach & Casino Resort
won Best Overall, and Best Presentation. Zorba's Restaurant won the People's Choice award for Best Taste.

"It's a new day in The Bahamas, as small and/or local as your business may seem, we're playing on the world stage," said Johnson. "While traveling I've had complete strangers express their love of the CULTURE, FOOD, HOSPITALITY of The Bahamas, and now tools like Trip Advisor, Yelp, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter can make your business more accessible now than ever."

2015 participants were: Agave, Bahamian Brewery & Beverage, Bake Bahamas, Bootleg Chocolates, Bristol, China Beach (Grand Lucayan), Churchill's (Grand Lucayan), Garden Delite, Hookah Lounge, Irie's (Grand Lucayan), Island Yogurt, Livity, Memories, Mojo's, Molly Malones, Out Da Sea, Phluid Phactory, Sabor, Sire's, Slice of Life, Take The Cake, Zorbas, and Water Depot.

On a more personal note, Johnson also thanked his staff, his mother and the late Lester Adderley Jr.
