Announcement: New Cardiologist arrives on GBI

Freeport, Grand Bahama Island - Dr. Hamid Seyfi, a clinical and interventional cardiologist will be opening his practice at St. Jude's Medical Centre on Coral Road as of October 13th. He comes with a broad scope of experience in cardiac disease consultation, electrocardiogram (ECG), echocardiogram, holter monitoring, blood pressure monitoring, stress testing, cardiac catheterization and all conditions to do with cardiology. Dr. Seyfi will hold clinic from 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday. He welcomes all in need of his services.

Dr. Seyfi explains that he came from Venezuela to serve the Bahamian people and to become a part of the Grand Bahama community. Dr Seyfi is a family man with a wife and two children.  He has been described by friends and colleagues as a humble community minded man with a great big heart.

He expresses his enthusiasm for the challenge saying; “I am so proud and grateful for the opportunity to offer my services to the Grand Bahama community. I look forward to devising solutions for my patients’ cardiovascular health issues .”

Dr Seyfi received his Medical Degree from the School of Medicine, Zulia University, Zulia State, Venezuela.
