Clean up for West End, Grand Bahama planned for April 1st

Grand Bahama, The Bahamas - The West End Eco-Fishing Camp Association (WEEFCA) in partnership with Save the Bays and 4Ocean  are asking for Youth Volunteers who are in need of Community Service Hours to help clean up the shoreline along Bayshore Drive in West End on Saturday 1 April, 2017 from 0900 am to 3pm.

All Volunteers are asked to Sign in at the St. Mary's Anglican Parish Hall in order to receive credit for Community service. LUNCH will be provided to ALL Youth as well as ADULT Supervisors who are Working in the Clean-up effort.

OUR GOAL IS TO PICK UP 1,500 POUNDS of LITTER/Bulk Waste Items or close to it. This will include bulk waste over the seawall items. 4Ocean's will be providing T-shirts for YOUTH Volunteers to wear as they Clean Up, and gloves, garbage bags.

ALL LITTER MUST BE WEIGHED IN TO COUNT. More info regarding weigh in procedures to follow at the event.

Please assist us in this endeavor by spreading the word by and "YES" this is open island wide to ALL YOUTH on Grand Bahama seeking Community Service Hours.
