"GRAND BAHAMA POWER CO. wishes to inform customers that there will be no planned, controlled shutdown of our systems. We will generate and transmit power throughout #HurricaneMatthew as long as we safely can. We will have employees stationed at our generation and distribution headquarters throughout the storm so that we can begin to restore power as soon as it’s safe to do so. Should power be lost, restoration will begin once the storm has passed and the all-clear is given by NEMA. If you need to report a downed power lines or poles, call our 24 hour hotline at 352-8411 or toll free from a cell phone at 242 300 4826."
