Grand Bahama Shipyard statement on Dr. Myles Plane Crash

Freeport, Bahamas – The Grand Bahama Shipyard shares in the mourning of the loss of so many lives, when a private jet crashed at a recycling facility east of the Grand Bahama Shipyard yesterday. The facility manages recycled waste material, scrap metal and construction debris.

The Grand Bahama Shipyard is assisting the Royal Bahamas Police Force in its recovery efforts and will continue to make our equipment and manpower available to the Bahamas Police force throughout this process.

The Management and Staff of the Shipyard are deeply saddened by this tragic accident and our thoughts and prayers go out to the families affected by this incident.

The result of this accident has had a tremendous impact on The Bahamas and we share in the loss.
