Grand Bahama Island -
Bahamas' Independence Day is Friday, July 10th. The Independence Committee of Grand Bahama announce the lineup of events for the island, which
commence on Wednesday, July 1st with the Annual Basketball Classic at Sir Jack Hayward Gym officially opening at 7:30pm.
National Pride Day will take place on Friday,
July 3rd.
A
special church service is set for Sunday,
July 5th and the basketball tournament continues throughout the week, culminating with all the major events beginning to take place on Thursday evening,
July 9th at Independence Park.
