Freeport, Bahamas - Miss Grand Bahama, Sade Colebrook will leave for Colombia
on January 3rd, 2015 to represent her country in the Miss International Coffee Beauty Contest.
Sade
is very excited to represent The Bahamas once again after recently returning from Jamaica where she participated in the Miss Global
International Beauty Pageant in Kingston.
Sade
said she thoroughly enjoyed the experience and made so many new friends from countries around the world. "Miss Global
International Beauty Pageant taught me a lot, and the experience is sure to help me as I compete at Miss international Coffee," said the
17 year old Sunland Baptist Academy graduate who is sponsored by Exquisite Collection.
Sade
is busy getting her body shaped and toned with fitness instructor
Charmaine McNabb at the YMCA. To brush up on her ambassador skills,
Miss Grand Bahama took part in the BahamaHost training program with
the Grand Bahama Ministry of Tourism earlier this year. The program ensured Miss Colebrook is
familiarized with correct and accurate information on her country's
history, geography, civics, economics and places of interest.
There is more research to be done to prepare for Colombia as the Miss
International Coffee Beauty Contest jury will assess each
candidate on the following aspects:
Beauty and personal poise.... 50% of score
Knowledge about Coffee..........40%
General knowledge.............20%
Miss Grand Bahama Beauty Pageant Organisation wishes to thank its sponsors: YMCA, Kelly's Freeport Ltd., Robbin Whachell & TheBahamasWeekly.com, Terreve College, Veronica Ellis Empress, Animale at Port Lucaya, Escanti Shoes, Patrice, and parents Mr. & Mrs Colebrooke.
