FREEPORT, Grand
Bahama – Residents throughout Grand Bahama dressed in traditional
Bahamian colours and assembled at the Independence Park in Freeport
Grand Bahama on Sunday, July 10th, 2016 to mark the 43rd Anniversary of Independence.
Hundreds showed up for the traditional Cultural Extravaganza, Flag
Raising Ceremony and the Ecumenical Service.
Minister for Grand Bahama, the Hon. Dr. Michael Darville took the
official salute and inspected the uniformed branches.
As usual, the audience was excited over the Police Parade and
performances from local entertainers.
