Freeport, Grand Bahama Island - The inaugural coronation event for Mrs Bahamas World was a huge success at the Hilton Outten Convention Center on Friday, August the 13th, 2010 when the committee headed by Willamae Deveaux put on a fabulous evening of entertainment, fashion, talent and commemoration to Mrs. Keldra Pinder who was crowned and will be the first woman from the Bahamas to represent her country in the Mrs World Pageant which will take place in Korea in October of this year.

A tradition of Mrs World is to have the husband crown the queen, and this was the case as Philip Pinder, proud husband and father of their three beautiful children came on stage to do the honours. He was assisted by Patra Albury.

The evening was hosted by Karen Ferguson-Bain, and Trevor Russell, who were an amazing duo on stage and entertained the audience throughout the evening. Fashion took the forefront when Mrs Bahamas and many of the local beauty queens modeled in a hat parade. Beautiful hats and outfits were featured by La Maison De Besh, Betty's Hats, Escante Shoe Outlet, and The Seventeen Shop.
