Freeport, Grand Bahama - While on a visit to Grand Bahama the US Chargé d’Affaires, Lisa Johnson, visited the Grand Bahama Shipyard (GBS), one of the largest ship repair facilities in the region. She took a tour of the facilities along with David Allen, US Embassy Political/Economic and Commercial Chief and were both given a presentation on the yard’s apprenticeship programme, their community relations efforts as well as the company's development over the past 15 years.
