Freeport, Bahamas - The Grand Bahama YMCA is finally able to announce that the women of Grand Bahama are getting their very own 30 minute circuit training room thanks to a local resident’s  generous donation that has made it possible after years of waiting.

A room within the YMCA facility has been completely refurbished, new floors, new ceiling,  new walls, new electrical and air conditioning and a beautiful new ladies restroom. The YMCA had purchased the 30 minute circuit equipment years ago and it was being stored in a warehouse waiting for it’s home at the “Y” to be ready.  Unfortunately the “Y” did not have the funds to make it happen until now.

The women of Grand Bahama deserve a safe, clean, bright place that they can use to get and stay fit and healthy. This circuit training program has been proven to have helped millions of women to get healthier using the 30 minute fitness solution. In just 30 minutes you work every major muscle group and burn up to 500 calories through a proven program of strength training, cardio, and stretching. Know that in just 30 minutes you have given your body what it needs to stay healthy and strong. Meet with your friends and enjoy lively music and good conversation and you won’t even realize you are exercising. This is a women friendly stress free atmosphere that is a welcome difference from a big impersonal gym.

The YMCA is offering a free introductory session to introduce the concept. The YMCA does not require any contracts, you can come in for a day, a week, a month or sign up for one of the discounted extended offers. You have access to all the “Y” has to offer in addition to the women’s circuit program. There are aerobic classes, treadmills, exercise bicycles, weight training and the heated pool at certain hours.

For more information or to schedule a free introductory session call the YMCA at 352-7074 or 352-7075. Beginning Tuesday  November 11th The circuit room will be open
from 5 AM to 7PM Monday to Friday and 7AM to 1PM on Saturday.
