Freeport, Grand Bahama Island - December 5, 2015, volunteers from The Bahamas Oil Refining Company Int’l Ltd. (BORCO) including, Khalid Muslih, President of Global Marine Terminals, senior management, employees and some of their family members joined together to do their part in ensuring that families in the Lewis Yard and Pinder’s Point area would not go hungry this holiday season. A clear indication of their level of the commitment in being good corporate citizens and giving back to those in which they work around daily, many volunteers showed up early Saturday morning despite the threat of rain and thunderstorms, prepared to distribute the 400 turkeys and dry goods packages containing rice, flour, grits and sugar to the neighboring community.

Many of the families are grateful to BORCO for continuing in this initiative starting 30 years ago in November 1985 which has become an annual tradition that they have all come to look forward to and one which brings them a little early Christmas joy.
