Freeport, Grand Bahama Island - On Thursday, April 1st, 2010, a total of $23,950 was donated to sixteen (16) recipients from schools, civic organizations, the sporting world and individuals for various causes. In that same spirit of generosity, the staff of BORCO presented a donation to The Grand Bahama Red Cross to assist the people of Haiti, totaling $3,720.00 as well as food supplies for their local meal on wheels program.
