Freeport Grand Bahama - On Saturday, March 27th 2010, a team of  BORCO professionals headed to Fujairah UAE (Dubai) for one week. The group of seven is visiting Vopak Horizon Fujairah Terminal, where they will exchange ideas.

The group consists of, Reg Adderley – Operations Planning Superintendent;
Cyril Pennerman – Marine Control Room Operator; Andrew Williams – Team Leader, Dwight Moore – Operator/Debottle Necking Projects;  Keith Saunders – Asst. Superintendent of Operations; Dexter Brooks – Superintendent of Safety and Security; and Leroy Glass - Facility Maintenance Supervisor.

Vopak Horizon Fujairah Terminal is a relatively new and modern facility; it is designed with state of the art specifications. Vopak Horizon Fujairah operates the first independent onshore oil terminal outside the Arabian Gulf, in the Emirate of Fujairah - one of the world's largest bunkering centers.

The BORCO participant’s expect to return with new ideas and strategies to improve operations, safety, security and maintenance.
