Meeting the Governor

highlight on the first night of the Bahamas Primary School Student of the Year
Medal Presentation Ceremony. On the
second night of the Bahama Primary School Student of the Year activities, all
of the students received their nominee trophies. Every student nominated was honoured for
their outstanding achievements in primary school. Candice’s, Grade 6 teacher, Mrs. Mauricia
White was on pins and needles in the audience waiting for Candice’s name to be
announced. She was very proud of her

Mrs. White called the BMES Primary School Vice Principal, Ms. Tanya Bowe to let
her know the results. Ms. Bowe spoke
with Candice and offered her congratulations on a job well done. Candice is looking forward to beginning her
high school career at Bishop Michael
Eldon School

who is understandably very proud of her daughter’s accomplishments is an
