Freeport, Bahamas - At the beginning of a New Year it is customary to make a New Year resolution. The average small business owner at the beginning of a New Year seeks ways to sustain their business to see another year. This can prove to be very challenging if one is not equipped to do so.
The Hon. J. Kwasi Thompson, Member of Parliament for Pineridge is pleased to announce again the strategic alliance with St. Bonaventure University and the Grand Bahama Chamber of Commerce to host “Financial Management for Success’ a 3-day Pineridge Small Business Workshop which will be held on January 11th – 13th, 2011 at Calvary Temple Youth Chapel.
The workshop will empower attendees to adapt to changes during economic crisis, they will also learn cost of goods and pricing, inventory control as well understanding how to read financial statements.
These power-packed sessions will be led Mr. Bob Daughtery, retired CPA from PriceWaterHouse in New York who now works with recruiting for PriceWaterhouse.
These sessions will be held from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm and will provide small business owners with the tools to catapult them into 2013 and beyond.

Founded by the Member of Parliament for Pineridge the Hon. J. Kwasi Thompson in 2010, the Pineridge Small Business Workshop is household brand name when it comes to empowering residence of Pineridge and Grand Bahama as a whole with the tools necessary to be effective in operating their business. PSBW has formed strategic alliances with local and international entities to equip small business owners and have since seen the birth of several new businesses on Grand Bahama.

Mr. Daughtery is the US Sourcing Leader for PricewaterhouseCoopers, overseeing Campus and Experienced Recruiting functions. Specific to campus, PwC recruits at 200 universities and hires over 5,000 full time and intern candidates annually. Additionally, Bob serves on the Global Human Capital Leadership Team and is a member of PwC's Extended Leadership Team.
