Freeport Bible Church is spreading love to its neighbouring communities

In keeping with the church’s vision, “Love God, Love People and Serve the World”, Freeport Bible Church (FBC) is recognizing June as “Love Thy neighbor” month, spreading love to the church’s neighboring communities of Pine Tree Subdivision, Sunset Subdivision and Belgrave.

 

The Outreach Ministry of the church located in Grand Bahama Island, led by Associate Pastor, Karol Roache, has planned several activities for the above mentioned communities during the month of June:

Saturday, June 06th – Refurbishment of C.A. Smith Park at 9:00 a.m.

Saturday, June 13th- Community Fun Day at C.A. Smith Park, 9:00 a.m. : Basket Ball Tournament, Dominoe Tournament, Children’s games, Health Screenings

Sunday, June 21st – 12 fathers from the community will be honored at FBC, 9:30 a.m. in their Father’s Day Service

Sunday, June 28th- Community Connection Sunday, Residents of the community are invited to worship at FBC at 9:30 a.m. During the service awards will be presented to the winners of the tournaments held on the community fun day

Pastor Roache said, “We are inviting all residents of our church’s neighboring communities to come out to these events as we follow the commandment of our Lord in showing love to our neighbors. We are privilege to be a part of this community and since we are the salt of the earth, we must make a difference, we must be a positive influence on our community. "

Freeport Bible Church is located on Norma Headley Drive, off West Atlantic Drive. Their weekly service is on Sunday mornings at 9:30. The Senior Pastor is Rev. Wilbur Outten.
