Jill Bradley retires as office manager from Bradford Marine after 17 years of dedicated service at the Freeport, Grand Bahama location. Jill started with Bradford Marine in September 1999 as the assistant office manager and within a year she was promoted to office manager. Over the years, Jill watched as key members of the Bahamas team blossomed and welcomed new additions. “We have formed a really cohesive team, I’m proud of how Bradford has grown as a company and how we have expanded to include 90% local employees, it’s really a huge achievement” she added.

Jill joined Bradford within the first few years of Bradford Marine’s 47-acre shipyard in Freeport. She recalls founder, Dieter Cosman, fondly “Mr. Cosman was a sweetheart, I remember when we were setting up an office for him and all he requested was a small wooden table and a telephone. We still have the table here! He wasn’t a fancy man, he didn’t need all the bells and whistles. He was sweet and supportive and he knew everyone by name.”

Recently, company president, Paul Engle, presented Jill with a plaque of appreciation to thank her for her years of dedication and commitment to the success of Bradford Marine. Mr. Engle wishes Jill the best in her retirement, “She was a key figure in the office and will be missed by everyone in the Bradford family.”
